There are several stalls selling flowers along the road from Ampur Sangklaburi to Ampur Muang. Some of us buy several of them.

The River Kwai Bridge at Karnchanaburi Province.

I think that except Khum Mer's mom who is 75++ years old and does not have a camera, the total number of cameras for this trip are more than 21. Many of us become paparazzi after a while of photographing the view. I am one of them.

On Sunday we rent three boats to see a temple that went under the water after the dam was built. Now only a part of the temple (หอระฆัง) can be seen. In summer when the water level is low, one can walk and see the old temple.

It is amazing that this tree can be survived for many years in the water.

With the very still water, Pe Fa told us to try to take the pictures from the reflection in the water.

There are 21 of us for this 2-day-trip on January 14 - 15. Khun Mer, Khun Mer's mother, Pe Sombat and Pe Au, Pe Paew, Pe Fa, Khun Kung and Khun Tong+, Mr. Big and I in one car. In another car there are 11 of us: Khun Nat, Keng, Noo Puu, Noo Hui, Noo Tai, Noom and Ja, Noo Phung, Ball, Ta and Lub (tour leader of this trip). It is the trip that many of us decided to join within a short period of time that the first car was filled up in a day. A second car had been requested to Khun Mer for those who missed the first one already.

Sunset

On Saturday, with most of the group swimming in the river, I followed a guru photographer to get some tips and hopefully get some better-looking-than-the-real-one pictures.

Some of us enjoyed swimming in the river.

Stay overnight at "สามประสบ" resort. The resort name refers to the three rivers join together: ซองกาเรีย, บีคลี่, and รันตี, becoming Little Kwai River (แม่น้ำแควน้อย). It costs Baht 1,100 per room with a double and a single bed with breakfast for 3 persons.
