Ratchaburi Province
As we all decided to cast our vote before the election date on December 23, a short trip on this long weekend seems so appropriate. Amphoe Suan Phueng at Ratchaburi province is our choice.
We first stop is to fill up our energy at “ร้านคุณตุ่ม” at Samutsakorn Province. A recommended one if you ever pass along that route.
At Pong Yup (โป่งยุบ). Earthen pillars and small cliffs created by soil erosion.
Next stop is at Kang Som Maew (แก่งส้มแมว) where older visitors enjoy the lunch picnic near the stream while the younger ones have a good time diving into the water.
Last stop for today is at Bo Khlueng Hotspring where we all enjoy the outdoor pool.
We stay overnight at the “Ban Hong Huern” resort.

Siem Reap Trip
The today tour starts at Kbal Spean, commonly known as the valley of a 1,000 lingas which were carved into the streambed.
Next stop is at Phnom Kulen Hill. The reclining Buddha image was sculptured from one enormous sandstone boulder located at the summit of the mountain.
After the lunch picnic, our next visit is at Banteay Srei with the beautiful finely cut into the sandstone.

Siem Reap Trip
A floating church
Sunset at Tonle Sap Lake
Four of us, P. Chan, Eak, Koh and I, decide to join Siem Reap Trip organized by TKT. The trip starts at 4.00 am by a van to Sra-Kaew province where we will pass through the immigration office. The Thai immigration line is o.k. with no complain; however, it takes about 2 hours to pass the Cambodia check-point. Then the nightmare starts to be true with lots of dust from the rough road, though we are in the air-conditioned bus. The road is in the construction process and should be finished by October next year.
We arrive to Siem Reap which is 300 kilometer from the border around 14:00. After lunch and check-in at the Krung Meas Hotel, we visit the Tonle Sap Lake.

In Singapore
Attend the Asset 2nd Annual Asian Bond Markets Summit in Singapore before joining the award cocktail party. TISCO receives the best corporate bond award in Thailand for the second year.
Christmas tree on Orchard Road
After that we hop on the opened bus to see the Christmas night light.
The sculpture on the river side walk near the Fullerton Hotel.
The Esplanade, of which many call a “du-rian” building.
Merlion at night. The Merlion was first designed as an emblem for the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) in 1964 – the lion head with a fish body resting on a crest of waves.

Balloon Festival
We start a day trip to Ampur Pak-Chong, Nakornratchasima Province in the early morning. As the wind is so strong, the balloon morning show is cancelled. So I decide to visit the sunflower field at Saraburi province instead.
The Saraburi Motto.
Muak-Lek Waterfall.
At Balloon Festival in the evening. There are many people coming to this event. It is my first time to watch the Balloon closely. End the day shopping at "Talad Thai"
