Brunei Flag

We came to Kota Kinabalu last night and today we board the Ferry to Labuan and then from Labuan to Brunei. After check in at the hostel opposite the Lapau, we explore Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital of Brunei.

Brunei is located on the northern shore of the Island of Borneo. Bordered by the Malaysian states of Sabah and Sarawak to the east and west respectively and Kalimantan (Indonesia) to the South. Indeed, the word "Borneo" is an adaptation of the name "Brunei" by which the entire island was once known.
