Then we head to the riverside to watch the Momiji Matsuri Festival, of which a procession of flat boats with costumed people singing/playing traditional Japanese song. Six or seven boats moves along the river. It is the imitation of the cruise in the past when Shogun and royal viewed the autumn foliage seasons.
