China - Day 3 at Yuanyang

Wake up very early in the morning to take pictures at Duoyishu view point. The weather is very cold. We are the third group at the view point terraced, using a tripod to reserve the best available spot. We are quite lucky that the sky is clear enough to take pictures because sometime the thick smog is covered all area.

Young villager also wake up early in the morning.

Start working in the fields.

Qingkou is an enchanting Hani village with mushroom houses.

Another color of the field created by the red plants

At the Bada View Point. The color of the terraced fields has been changed during the day reflecting from the color of the sky.

Yuanyang Hotel where we stay for 2 nights.

At Bada view point in the evening. We take lots of pictures. Thanks K. Wichai who also likes to take photo teaches us many technic and tells us to be ready when the right rays of sun shines into the field.

Yuanyang :
Yuanyang is renowned for its rice terraces, which claim as the world's largest and most spectacular one, crafted out by bare hands by the Hani people one thousand years ago and is still in use today. The landscape changes vividly through the year.
